PSY 3377: Cognition

Semester: Winter 2026 (January - April)

Course Component: Lecture, Laboratory

Prerequisites: Reserved for students enrolled in the Major, Joint Honours, Honours in psychology programs, and the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Design.

Introduction to contemporary cognitive psychology. Origin of cognitive and symbolic processes. Historic foundations. Acquisition of various kinds of knowledge. Analysis of cognitive strategies. The course includes laboratory activities. Current research in cognition.
